Stanley Paher, one of three people honored as a Distinguished Nevadan by the University of Nevada, Reno last week, has spent much of his life dedicated to Nevada's history. But he is also impacting the state's present and will continue to do so in its future. Paher, who owns Nevada Publications, has published 124 Nevada books for 53 authors in addition to writing 19 books of his own.
